Andy McEntee

Andy McEntee joined FOCUS Capital Partners in 2018 as a Client Relationship Manager. He specialises in in debt raising and M&A, bringing new opportunities to his client base across multiple industries including animal nutrition, renewable fuel, AI, education, pharmaceuticals, and medical diagnostics.

While working with SME owners looking to grow or sell, or high-net worth individuals looking to invest, Andy is known for building trusted, long-term partnerships with clients, and his connection to communities across Ireland.

Andy established his career at the Davy Group, with over 27 years’ experience of dealing in currency and interest rate instruments. In his final 5 years at the Group, Andy excelled in the role of Director of Moneybroker, acting exclusively in an agency capacity for professional clients, connecting buyers and sellers in the wholesale financial markets.

Outside of the boardroom, Andy also has a very successful career in GAA as the manager of the Antrim Football Team (2022-2025), Meath Football Team (2016-2022), Ballyboden St. Enda’s (2013-2016; 2016 All-Ireland Champions), and Meath Minors (2012-2013). Andy’s achievements in sport underpins his professional career, bringing his leadership skills, as well as a competitive edge and a collaborative mindset to every client interaction.

Andy holds a B.A. in Economics together with a Master’s in Sports Management from UCD.
