Darragh Scanlon

Darragh Scanlon is a Manager at FOCUS. He has over five years’ experience advising on both buy- and sell-side transactions across the US, UK and Ireland, spanning a range of industries. Darragh has developed strong transaction experience and sector knowledge across software, agribusiness and food, financial services, consulting, and advanced manufacturing.

Previously, Darragh worked with Key Capital and IMAP (Capstone) in their corporate finance teams and gained M&A experience with Delaney Locke. In 2024, Darragh was included in the Irish Independent’s “30 Under 30” list in recognition of his work with an agri-tech startup. In 2025, he was subsequently recognised as “Young Innovator of the Year” by the AIBF (All-Ireland Business Foundation).

Darragh holds first-class honours degrees in both a BSc in Finance and an MSc in Finance (Asset Management) from University College Cork. He is also a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with Chartered Accountants Ireland.
